Held in Vigan City, it celebrated traditions through cultural performances like the binatbatan dance, traditional games, and religious events. The trade and food fair was a major highlight, offering authentic Ilocano delicacies such as bagnet and empanada, alongside showcasing local craftsmanship like abel Iloco and pottery. The dazzling drone light show and dancing fountain added a modern touch to the festivities.


Attending the festival was an unforgettable experience. From immersing myself in the dynamic cultural displays to savoring the aroma and taste of Ilocano specialties, every moment resonated with the spirit of Ilocos Sur.


The Kannawidan Festival not only celebrated Ilocano culture but also inspired a sense of pride and unity among its people. It was a beautiful reminder to cherish and protect our heritage while embracing innovation and progress.

REFLECTION

 As we entered Quarter 2, we began learning how to code using HTML tags, covering various topics such as Basic HTML Structure, Text Formatting, Lists, and Links. However, I didn't attend classes regularly because I joined BP '24.  When I returned to school, I focused on catching up on the lessons I had missed. I worked on completing the coding activities and addressing challenges such as understanding nesting and closing tags, managing attributes, and maintaining proper structure. I also developed skills in coding, including creativity in designing and creating web pages, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving when I encountered issues with my code. In the future, my knowledge of coding can be used to develop web pages, enabling developers to craft captivating digital experiences etc.  As technology advances, HTML's influence will continue to shape the web, empowering innovators across industries.
