123 Years of ISNHS: A Celebration of Pride and Heritage


 
The 123rd High School Day celebration at Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) was a vibrant and memorable event that showcased the unity, talent, and pride of the school community. Although I wasn’t able to participate in our batch’s dance performance due to my recent return from R1, I made it a point to support my fellow batchmates and students. Watching them perform with such energy and dedication filled me with pride and reminded me of the strong sense of camaraderie that defines our school.

The day was filled with colorful performances, lively music, and heartfelt speeches that celebrated the rich history and achievements of ISNHS. From the opening parade to the cultural presentations, every moment reflected the school’s enduring legacy and commitment to excellence. As I cherished the festivities, I felt a deep appreciation for the efforts of my peers and teachers who worked tirelessly to make the event a success.

The yearly celebration of ISNHS’s founding holds great significance as it serves as a time to honor the school’s legacy and the countless lives it has shaped over the years. It fosters a sense of pride, unity, and belonging among students, alumni, and faculty, reminding us that we are part of something greater. This tradition not only celebrates the past but also inspires us to strive for greater achievements in the future, ensuring that the spirit of ISNHS continues to thrive for generations to come.

As we enter a new beginning, I'm reminded that it is time for us to restart and It's an opportunity to rediscover our purposes and make an outcome from it. As I reflect on past esperiences, I acknowledge accomplishments and admit my mistakes. This serve as a lesson for personal growth. This year I will make the best out of it, propelling me toward change. This year, I commit to nurturing positivity and break free from my fear, limitations and mistakes. My goals encompass physical growth, be productive, unleashing my potential, fostering and prioritizing physical and mental well-being. By doing so, I will make my aspirations turn into achievements. REFLECTION

 As we entered Quarter 2, we began learning how to code using HTML tags, covering various topics such as Basic HTML Structure, Text Formatting, Lists, and Links. However, I didn't attend classes regularly because I joined BP '24.  When I returned to school, I focused on catching up on the lessons I had missed. I worked on completing the coding activities and addressing challenges such as understanding nesting and closing tags, managing attributes, and maintaining proper structure. I also developed skills in coding, including creativity in designing and creating web pages, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving when I encountered issues with my code. In the future, my knowledge of coding can be used to develop web pages, enabling developers to craft captivating digital experiences etc.  As technology advances, HTML's influence will continue to shape the web, empowering innovators across industries.
